It takes an HSURVillage - the Penultimate Coffeehouse

Updated: Aug 8, 2019

In the penultimate Coffeehouse of the summer, the HSURVillage came together for another cozy and wonderful evening of performances.

Lincoln kicked off the evening with a comedy routine that brought peals of laughter through the audience. While his jokes are golden, many would agree that his mere presence can spark a hearty chuckle. Just when we though the evening's stand-up could not get any better, Jackie brought the villagers to happy tears with her hilarious delivery. Kiyeon's emphatic gestures and commentary on village-wide news also had the audience smiling ear to ear!

Later in the evening, the village was graced with Rachel's sweet performance of 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents my Heart) -- just in time for the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. The ladies in red (Pauline, Bella, Poppy, Renee, Alyssa, Anna Kate) gave a sassy rendition of Mean Girl's Jingle Bell Rock. And who could forget the lively performance from the "Harvard Cheerleading Squad "(aka Andrew, Sajawall, George, Stan). From the snapshots below, you can almost feel the energy as they passionately they sang their hearts out!

As the summer slowly draws to a close, only 1 more Coffeehouse remains-- Thursday, August 8. Don't miss this final evening of talent! Word in the village is that the evening will be extra special!!
