HSURV Musical 2 -- because we're fabulous

The second iteration of the HSURV evening talent show "Coffee House" took place in JCR last night. For the second night this summer, the research village gathered to celebrate the talents of all who stepped up and performed.

Our Coffee House hosts Peyton and Zack kicked off the night with a beautiful opening number -- You are the Music in Me -- that set the stage for the talented acts to come.

With yet another dramatic entrance, the Brits performed an energetic mashup of Hooked on a Feeling and Country Roads -- this time managing to get the audience to their feet in support of their well-rehearsed performance. In addition, the choices made by their wardrobe department were also on point last night.

Both Rachel and Kiyeon performed pieces on the piano. Though their pieces were completely different, both performances wowed the audience.

We also had a couple of lucky volunteers who got to put their dancing talents on display for the audience...

Luann's taekwondo performance displayed her skill and power, and was a surprising change from the other more musical acts.

HSURV Musical 2 was a huge success -- from dancing to singing to poetry, the HSURV community did not disappoint, pulling out talent after talent. Big thank you to all who participated and organized; we're all looking forward to the third coffeehouse! See y'all there!
