The once bespectacled island is now more the shape of a budding yeast (sorry, that’s what I have to stare at for eight hours a day). But, misnomer aside, it was a great way to get out and about. After a wonderful ferry ride full of beautiful sights to see (we saw the wondrous Codzilla from atop our regal deck once again!)
After our sandwiches from Darwin's (one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!), we head out to the painful-as-hell-but-a-beach-is-a-beach rocky beach, the top of the North Drumlin where we danced to the greatest bops ever (Dancing Queen anyone?!), played Frisbee with the winds carrying the disc to heights none but the blessedly tall could reach, had a bout of Spikeball, and just goofed around until we had the entire gazebo to ourselves.
Afterwards, getting to relax and re-hydrate at the visitor center where the amazingly nice Park Rangers talked to us while we painted was an amazing time. Would ten on ten go back on a nice clear day!

Sounds like a delightful day! I’ll have to check it out, this is definitely an Island to visit for anyone who loves scenic ferry rides and nature.
