Self-reflections @ The Body Worlds exhibit

Just a few minutes’ walk from MGH, within the Museum of Science, there lies the Body Worlds exhibit. This went far beyond the 2D pictures in your biology textbook – the Body Worlds exhibit makes use of real bodies preserved using the plastination process to showcase preserved musculature, nerves, and bones arranged in a variety of poses. Everyone was near silent, eyes wide and murmuring in hushed tones as we truly had a look at what lies beneath our skin.
