Well, we have had Winston (and his umbrella!) featured before on the blog in the post about the trip to Salem, but, we dove deeper into what really makes him tick!
An Electrical Engineering concentrator of the class of 2021, you may have seen Winston walking around in his Stewie Griffin pyjamas. He works in Dr. Michael John Aziz on flow batteries which he finds exciting because they are close to being integrated into the society and because he's involved in a project that's trailblazing a new field!
He believes that the best part of the summer has been the great cohort and the opportunity to meet amazing people and learn more about them since people are so much more loose and comfortable in the summer than during term-time (Greg really did rub off on you!). He also advises us to hang in there as the second half of HSURV is even more fun than the first!
As is in the case of Abijith, Winston's friends provided us with quite interesting snippets about him:
He is extraordinary but regular?
He's on the Swim Club Team but his friends believe he should go for varsity.
He can juggle (ask him how many!)
He's lactose intolerant and hence eats almost no candy/chocolate (he doesn't like non-dairy based candy either)
Has A LOT of plaid shorts.
Thanks to playing the guitar, has longer fingernails on the right hand than on the left one.
He's in Pfoho which is weird (said his friends who are also in Pfoho...)
Keep a look out for his little brother aka little Winston coming to campus next semester!
(Also, having witnessed this first-hand, fun fact: he does not know how to count money. And he will count a bill give it to you, count the next one, give it to you and so on.)
